RECORDING STUDIO
OUR WORLD CLASS
WE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT MUSIC
Welcome to Rock Hard Studios, a high end, Neve equipped, boutique recording studio based in central Blackpool.
Opened in 2007 by highly experienced mixer, engineer and studio designer Dan Atkinson the studio now boasts five separate, individual sounding acoustic spaces as well as a Neve Genesys Black G48 Console, tonnes of high end outboard gear from SSL, Neve, Kemper, UA, UREI, Teletronix, Avalon and Manley to name a few, and that’s not all, Rock Hard’s microphone locker contains some of the most sought after microphones in the industry, from Neumann U47s, U87s and Valve U67s to Royer Ribbons, Flea 47 Vintage Valves, AKG, Shure and Sennheiser classics.
Rock Hard Studios isn’t just about the latest recording hardware though, we have invested heavily in analogue equipment so your projects can be recorded or mixed via a Neve console and classic analogue outboard for a pristine hybrid analogue/digital signal path.
With Rock Hard's huge collection of in house instruments, modern and vintage drums, guitars and amplifiers as well as a stunning Yamaha Grand Piano we are sure to have everything you need right here and free to use for all recording sessions.
With our in-house team of experts in song writing, music production, recording, vocal editing, mixing and mastering, as well as working with production team Star Stuff Music, Rock Hard Studios is the perfect setting for your next Album, EP, Single or writing session.

“The easiest way to avoid wrong notes is to never open your mouth and sing. What a mistake that would be.”
